This exciting new course in Radio Production is a result of a unique collaboration between SSR, Accrington and Rossendale College and University of Lancaster. Delivered at SSR’s famous facilities in Central Manchester and drawing on a combination of highly skilled tutors with state-of–the art equipment, this course will give you a real edge in an ever-expanding Radio market.

The course has been developed with the support of some of the Northwest’s largest stations including Key103 and BBC Radio Manchester, XFM and BBC Radio Lancashire. With the BBC’s imminent arrival at Salford’s MEDIACITY and the advancements of digital Radio, this is the perfect opportunity to become a valued member of the UK’s creative media industry.

The course provides a thorough and in-depth look at the Radio industry, covering all aspects including writing for Radio, programmes and programming, digital editing skills and business management.

Work-based learning will be an integral part of the course and students will have the opportunity to use the knowledge and the skills they acquire in a professional Radio environment.
