ABOUT THE COURSE
Fancy yourself as an audio engineer or music producer? Do you want to hear how your tracks sound in a professional studio environment?
During this fun and hands-on 5 day summer course you’ll be recording and mixing music in our studios and editing suites.
With the guidance of our expert tutors you will learn how to record various instruments including drums, guitars, bass and vocals, and try out a range of microphones and recording techniques. And once you have the perfect take, put your mixing skills (and your ears) to the test in both analogue and digital environments.
We’ll teach you about adding effects, and processing such as EQ and compression to your music, and guide you in balancing your mix to create commercial quality audio.
Five days later, you’ll have a solid understanding of the processes and techniques that go into creating songs and albums.
Whether you are a budding music producer or songwriter, boost your confidence with this course in studio production.TOPICS
