Mira is one of Indonesia’s most successful film producers. Having graduated from The Jakarta Arts Institute in 1988, Mira has gone on to work on some of the regions most popular and commercially successful films. Her credits include Whats With Love, Sherina's Adventure and The Dreamer.

Mira started out working for five years at Lintas Advertising and four years at Katena Films, before setting up her own company Miles Productions alongside Riri Riza in 1995.

Mira has a wealth of experience in all types of film production, from guerrilla style small budget films to large scale, full budget box office successes. In 2008, she produced Laksar Pelangi (The Rainbow Troops) which went on to break Indonesian box office records at the time with over 4.6million people seeing the film in cinemas.

Mira has an eye for talent, and often embraces young and new talented directors for her productions. For this reason we are delighted that Mira will be supporting SSR Jakarta through the Mira Lesmana Scholarship on our Digital Film and Music Video Production course.

Scholarship Funds
The Mira Lesmana and Alex Kumara scholarships will offer up to IDR 50.000.000 per academic year for SSR’s Digital Film & Music Video Production and Audio Engineering programmes respectively.

Who Can Apply?
The Scholarships are open to any financially and academically deserving students who are currently pursuing/intending to pursue higher education in local public and private universities/colleges/polytechnics.

How To Apply?
To apply for a scholarship programme you must attend* an SSR Jakarta Open Day/Open Event – Details of the application process and answers to any other questions you may have will be given at these events.

Requirements

• Must be an Indonesian citizen
• Full-time student in SMA/college/university
• Already gained/intended to seek acceptance into public/private universities/colleges/polytechnics (please submit to us via email the letter of acceptance once you received it)
• Excellent SMA/SMK/Diploma or other relevant results
• SMA's Student: SGPA 7.5 and 8 for each 3 subjects (Mathematics, Physic, English)
• College/University's Student: Grade A: GPA 3.8. - Grade B: GPA 3.6 - Grade C: GPA 3.4
• Currently not holding any other scholarship or receiving any financial assistance from any other institution.
