The Neve Studio is SSR London’s flagship studio. With two live rooms for recording bands and artists and a control room full of the highest quality equipment, the Neve Studio is the perfect environment for students to learn how to record and mix music to a professional level.

Technology in this studio ranges from the very latest digital audio equipment, such as Pro Tools HD9, to the ‘classic’ Studer A800 MKIII analogue tape machine. Centred around a Neve VR60/48 console, our students learn how to use one of the most popular large format analogue consoles found in many studios worldwide.

Great attention has been paid to the design & installation of the studio, leading to highly soundproofed and acoustically treated rooms and a comprehensive cabling installation that provides masses of flexibility to its engineer. It even has a dedicated machine room to house all noisy and fan-cooled power supplies, audio interfaces and computers, to ensure the superb mixing environment in the Control Room is not compromised.
