SSR and The Roundhouse are offering a new scholarship that will pay the course fees on SSR London’s Audio Engineering Techniques and Technology course for intakes in March and September 2012.
The course delivers vocational, industry relevant training in SSR’s professional studios at our campus in Camden.
The scholarship is there to support someone with creative talent who wishes to pursue a career in the Music Industry. The candidates should be aged 17 or above and have demonstrated commitment to succeed in this competitive industry through work at The Roundhouse, at school, college or in other community projects.
The scholarship will be officially launched at our next Open Day on Saturday 28th January. We invite scholarship applicants to attend the open day for further information.
The Roundhouse is a registered charity and music venue based in Camden, London. Along with staging high profile concerts from some of the music industries biggest acts, the Roundhouse offers a year round schedule of creative projects for 11-25 year olds. These projects cover a wide range of topics including radio production, drama, poetry, TV, sound engineering, photography and visual arts.
The Roundhouse is a natural creative partner for SSR London and we are delighted they have decided to support this exciting new scholarship programme.
