DJ Tuition

SSR offers first class Dj tuition through the Technics Dj Academy.

This is currently delivered on a 1-2-1 basis, allowing us to tailor a training package to suit you. This could be anything from a 2 hours sessions to days/weeks worth of tuition.

Featuring industry active professional Dj tutors, our tuition can cover all aspects of Dj culture and techniques tuition; from equipment familiarisation, beat-matching and scratching, to remixing, production techniques, careers advice and promotion.

We can cater for all common dj formats (including vinyl turntables, cdj’s and digital/laptop dj’ing etc) and our facilities feature industry standard hardware and software from manufacturers including Technics, Pioneer, Allen & Heath, Ableton, Rane, Serato, Sennheiser & Native Instruments (Traktor).

We can design training programmes for complete beginners and taster sessions or gift packages, along with more in-depth training for intermediate/advanced level Dj’s looking to brush up on specific techniques such as advanced turntablism and scratching.

Regardless of your preferred style, our tuition will give you the tools to enjoy total creative freedom.

Our 1-2-1 training can be arranged at a time to suit you. Weekdays, weekends, daytime or evenings.

1-2-1 tuition is based on a standard price of £35 per hour plus VAT, with a minimum of 2 hours bookings for each session. This covers the costs for the tutor, studio and all equipment with no hidden extras.

We are however able to negotiate on prices if you are looking to book more than a couple of hours and can create a bespoke programme for you.
