FdSc Post Production Technology for Film, TV and CGI course overview
The Foundation Degree in Post Production Technology for Film, TV and CGI, in partnership with MMU, will give you the essential up to date skills, knowledge and experiences to pursue a wide variety of careers in media production.
Unlike many other media courses, this degree will give students access to the very best facilities and real hands on training required for a lasting career in post production; the very skills that media production companies have identified as key requirements for graduates seeking work.
Becci Morgan, Manager of Flix Post Production in Manchester:
"Graduates learn a lot, but not the technical side of things. It would be good to have graduates who are prepared for post production but universities tend not to allow students to get on the equipment because it’s expensive."
(The Guardian 22/11/2008)
The FdSc Post Production Technology for Film, TV and CGI course will do just that.
Elements of audio and video post production, studio techniques and routines as well as CGI will be delivered up to an advanced level to prepare you for work in this challenging and demanding field.
The FdSc Post Production Technology for Film, TV and CGI course is delivered in partnership with MMU a short walk from the SSR campus, so students will be able to benefit from SSR’s fantastic facilities in audio post production and the broadcast, CGI and multi-media labs at MMU.
