SSR is proud to be working in partnership with the NCFE to offer our students the opportunity to gain formal accreditation at Level 5 (equivalent to an ordinary Bachelors degree/Foundation degree) and Level 6 (equivalent to an Honours degree) on SSR's Audio Engineering Techniques and Technology industry courses in Manchester, London and Jakarta.
NCFE is a National Awarding Organisation, passionate about designing, developing and certificating diverse, nationally recognised qualifications and awards. These qualifications contribute to the success of millions of learners at all levels, bringing them closer to fulfilling their personal goals.
This presents a unique opportunity for SSR students, who can complete our industry course and choose to 'top up' their qualification to a Level 5 or Level 6 NCFE qualification. This provides a faster, cheaper and more direct route into employment than a university course can offer. With tuition fees on the rise and becoming unmanageable for many potential students, the NCFE option provides a credible, nationally recognized alternative to university.
SSR is the only private institution in the UK currently providing NCFE Level 6 qualifications in audio and music production.
NCFE is a registered educational charity and has a strong heritage in learning, going back over 150 years. Dynamic and responsive with a buzz that sets it apart, NCFE is proud to be recognised for its exceptional customer service and friendly approach.
NCFE's extensive product catalogue includes a wide range of general and vocationally related QCF qualifications in a variety of subject areas, as well as Competence Based qualifications/NVQs, and Functional Skills qualifications. NCFE is recognised as an Awarding Organisation by the qualification regulators ('regulators') for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The regulators are the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) in England, the Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS) in Wales and the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) in Northern Ireland.
