Florence To Masterclass

Last week the amazing digital artists Florence To came and gave a master-class to the 2nd year EMP / DJ Practice students who are mid-way through our new Music and Visual Presentation module.

She talked about her work, her process, how she came to be working as an artist at an international level and showed some projection mapping (technology used to turn objects, often irregularly shaped, into a display surface for video projection) techniques in Resolume.

The transformation of a simple cardboard box a particular highlight - see video at bottom of post!

It was a very interesting and informative day; the students were inspired and will be using the techniques shown in their projects.
