At live gigs do you find yourself watching the engineer rather than the band on stage? Ever wanted to be that person? Then this 5 day summer school course in Manchester is for you!
Anywhere there is live music or a live band playing, there will be a team of engineers dedicated to making that sound as clear (and often as loud) as possible.
Working in our unique, 200 capacity Live Sound training venue, this course will give you a solid understanding of live sound engineering, with everything from the PA components to mixing the music.
You’ll get to use both analogue mixing desks and the latest digital consoles, see how a PA system is wired up, and learn how to engineer the sound separately for both the band onstage, and the audience out front.
Next time you go to a festival, maybe you won’t just be watching the band, maybe you’ll be the one creating that perfect live sound mix.TOPICS
