ABOUT THE COURSE
If you're not already up to scratch with Native Instruments' incredible Maschine platform then the only question is, why not? Maschine could change your life for the studio and on stage!
Delivered from our London campus in Camden Town, this 2 day intensive hands-on course is delivered by our Native Instruments specialists. The key aim of the weekend is to learn the essential features and techniques needed to compose, produce and perform your own musical ideas. In our dedicated NI training room, each student has access to a Maschine Studio and Jam hardware unit to follow each step of the course.
Day 1 - Maschine Producer 101
Utilising NI’s Flagship STUDIO hardware controller, this day covers the fundamental features of the Maschine software, including creative approaches for rhythm, bass, leads, pads and sampler parts in your compositions. No matter which electronic music genre you prefer, our tutors have a host of production techniques to show you as you build the parts for a complete musical sketch by the end of this first day.
Day 2 - Jam Performer 101
This second day builds on the work you’ve created and knowledge gained in day 1. With Maschine Jam and performing being the focus of the day, you’ll explore a variety of techniques to perform your existing work while also adding new improvisational elements.
This course is perfect for those who are new to the Maschine platform or existing users who’d like to re-establish themselves from the ground up while learning techniques and workflows best suited for studio and performance work.
