As the lead singer of Elbow, acclaimed solo artist and BBC Radio 6 DJ, Guy is one of the most-loved figures in the music industry and needs no introduction.

This informal, relaxed event that will take place right here at SSR exclusively for you, our students.
This guest lecture is open to all SSR students but places are limited. If you would like to come, please register your place (first come first served) via the form at the bottom of this page.
Ask Your Questions!
While we will be taking questions from the audience during the event itself, we'd love to know in advance what you would like to ask Mr Garvey so that we can focus on the things that are of interest to you as students of SSR. You can ask anything you like, but the more relevant to SSR the better. You could ask about the recording processes involved in Elbow's albums, his/the band's relationship with a engineers and producers, approaches to music videos, the music industry, tips for engineers, funny stories...anything goes!
Use the form below to register a seat and use the comments box to tell us the question(s) you'd like to put to Guy. We will choose some of the best ones and make sure they're featured.
We hope to see you there!
PLEASE NOTE - This event is an exclusive for SSR students only. Please only register if you are a current SSR student AND you can definitely attend the session. Please don't register if you are not an SSR student - we will be checking!
