SSR had a big presence at the Brighton Music conference (BMC) this year, working closely with our industry partners Native Instruments.
On the mezzanine level, SSR tutors were providing 101 workshops on Maschine, Reaktor and Traktor and demonstrating advanced techniques in the ‘Tech Tasters’ area.
We were also delivering seminars in the ‘Founders' Forum’ - tutor Phelan Kane linking up his giant Synthesiser.com Moog-clone modular to Reaktor 6 Blocks and pumping it through the Function One rig (sounded awesome!).
Electronic Music and DJ Practice course leader Jake Williams also participated on a panel discussion moderated by Tony Nwachukwu entitled ‘Music Education in the Moder Era’ alongside Toolroom Record’s Stuart Knight, Marc Langsman from Beatcamp and Point Blank CEO Rob Cowan.
