Adam Lidbetter Guest Lecture - Sony Interactive
On Tuesday 28 March, ex-London tutor Adam Lidbetter returned to SSR to give our 3rd year degree students a guest lecture about his new position working on game sound for Sony Interactive Entertainment.
As a former tutor in Post Production and Pro Tools at our London campus, Adam has now moved on to work as a senior sound editor for Sony Interactive Entertainment. In his new role he’s worked on PlayStation games such as VR Worlds and Wipeout Omega, as well as some upcoming AAA titles. In the past he has also worked as a dubbing mixer for the BBC and has taught audio engineering for a number of years.
During the lecture he discussed all aspects of game sound, which was a fascinating and detailed insight into the working process of AAA games.
Thanks to Adam for sharing his valuable experiences with our students.
