Film and TV Audio Post Production students secure feature film as final project
SSR will once again provide real world work experience for it’s students as the entire class from Film and TV Audio Post Production course are about to start work on a full-length UK made feature film called ‘Bar Stewards’.
The black comedy (written and directed by Michael Booth – Diary of a Bad Lad) is funded by Northwest Vision and Media as well as the UK Film Council. Currently the editors are finalising the cut and audio post production is scheduled to start in October at SSR.
Says Norbert Weiher, Head of Post Production at SSR,
“I am very pleased that we have been approached by the producers to carry out the audio post production for them. SSR continues to work in tandem with the industry and every approach is a testimony to our growing reputation as leaders in media technology training. It will be a fantastic opportunity for the phase 3 students to put their skills to test on a full-length film and this will also give phase 1 student’s experience of working practices and workflow in feature film production. All students involved will appear in the credits for the feature film on release – another unique opportunity for our students.”
