UK University UCLan Visits SSR Jakarta
SSR senior management recently returned to SSR Jakarta and were accompanied by John Holloway (Programme Leader) and Nathalie Cachet-Gaujard (Head of International Partnerships and Business Development) from the UK’s University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).
This was Nathalie’s second visit to SSR Jakarta and the first visit for John, and we were delighted to welcome them to Indonesia.
The main purpose of the trip was for our Jakarta campus to be assessed by UCLan for a potential partnership similar to our current collaborative partnership in the UK. We hope to announce further details on this in the near future.
This exciting development will offer a unique opportunity for students from the region, allowing them to benefit from taking a degree programme in their own country that is validated by a leading UK University. There will also be a strong emphasis on student exchanges programmes with potential for students to take part of their course in the UK.

“Under normal circumstances UCLan would not consider working with a brand new organisation, but it is a credit to SSR and our strong relationship with them that we are happy to be working with SSR Jakarta. We were made to feel very welcome by all the SSR team and it was great to see the enthusiasm shown by everyone we met.”
We would like to thank Nathalie and John for taking the time and considerable effort to visit SSR Jakarta.
We will be announcing further details of this partnership in the near future so please keep checking the website for news updates.
