Luke is co-founder and technical director of Sigtrap Games, an indie studio founded in 2014 after he gained his PhD in Physics at the University of Manchester. Alongside his scientific education, his extensive programming experience is accompanied by a background in music, web design and film-making.
This wide range of experience gives Luke a keen creative insight into every part of the game design and production process. Since indie development frequently necessitates wearing many hats, this insight is invaluable.
Sigtrap's debut game Sublevel Zero, a roguelike zero-g shooter, was released to critical and commercial success on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. It has been nominated for five TIGA awards and two Develop awards.
