Technical Stage Staff/ Sound Technician;

I have recently studied a BSc (Hons) Studio & Live Music Production degree at SSR Manchester. This course is validated by University of Central Lancaster. I have been both an engineer and technician for five years working with many productions from musical theater to recording and mixing in studio. Having experienced working and being involved in several types of productions and seeing them come to life for the enjoyment of an audience.

I have just completed a contract for the Allure of the Seas – Royal Caribbean. I was hired as a technical stage staff. My duties were to to set up a number of different shows and events happening around the ship. I am required to understand the specific needs of the bands and transport equipment throughout the ship to certain areas, and then set up this equipment. Maintaining all the theaters and carrying out specific cues during the shows. Whenever I get a spare moment I am shadowing the sound engineers and lounge technicians to learn the systems that they use.

I am able to communicate effectively with artists/ management and technicians alike, able to manage difficult situations including problem solving and situations to meet job goals. I work well to deadlines and often under pressure. I am pleasant and sociable to a professional standard. I can cope with long hours and tight deadlines. Working with professionals and communicating with other staff, team management/ delegation.
