July 2015 Update

Tom has recently been signed to Lobster Theremin's new offshoot label Distant Hawaii.

His new Waiting EP features 4 tracks of beach-coasting sunshine house of the highest order. The title track was premiered on Boiler Room's 'Debuts' series and the whole release has garnered support from some of the biggest players in house and disco.

The EP can be purchased at Piccadilly Records (along with a glowing, tongue-firmly-in-cheek review) here.

SSR Audio Engineering Techniques & Technology graduate, SSR Bar Sessions resident DJ and all round good friend of SSR staff and students Tom Harris, AKA Hidden Spheres, is this week celebrating the release of his debut EP, Walking Tall, on Save You Records!

The EP, which was mixed down right here at SSR, has received great support already from the likes of Luke Solomon, Xpress 2 and Laurent Garnier to name a few.

All the tracks on the release are favourites here in the SSR office, but the exceptional 'Meet The Freak' featuring bonafide musician and artist Benny Sings perhaps deserves special attention. Benny and the kind team at Dox Records kindly allowed Save You access to sample Benny Sing's and Rednose Distrik's amazing 'Miss Morel'... a track some of you might recognise. The original is unreal and Hidden Spheres' retake is special indeed.

Check out Meet The Freak Soundcloud widget below and then head over to Beatport, check out the other tracks and show some support if you like what you hear!

To celebrate, Tom will be hosting a release party at Kosmonaut on Wednesday 25th June from 6pm. You can also catch him playing alongside Mattigaan and SSR student Manny Sackey at the next SSR Bar Sessions the next night too!

With other stunning releases in the works and with the following he is quickly gaining in the house music scene we look forward to hearing more from Tom very soon!
