Upon completing the course, Terence landed a placement at famous London PA hire company Britannia Row. Originally set for a standard apprenticeship, Terence obviously impressed with the skills he had learnt on SSR’s Live Sound course and was immediately ‘fast tracked’ on to an intensive apprenticeship to get him geared up for life on the road.
Whilst working on the fast track scheme, Terence has also been working in the Britannia Row warehouse, prepping gear and PA systems to be taken out on the road with some of the countries major bands and touring productions.
The hard work has obviously paid off, as Terence has now been picked to go out on the road with Kasabian on their upcoming UK tour, which kicks off in Newcastle on November 10th.
The apprenticeship is a big responsibility, but really exciting. I’ve got a bit of catching up to do with the other guys (as they’ve been here a lot longer) but hopefully that won’t hold me back once we get stuck into things.
I really appreciate all the support that Jay Beard (Head of Live Sound) and SSR have given me in my short time in Manchester, all the hard work and sacrifices I made to make the move and complete the live sound course really paid off. Thanks!”
